The recent death of the actor Robin Williams has brought the condition known as Parkinson’s disease to the world’s attention. What is this condition, how does one get Parkinson’s disease, is it hereditary, what is the age of onset and is there a cure, are some of the questions that people would like answers to.



This eighteen hundred word report gives you all that information and also looks at when the symptoms of what would later come to be known as Parkinson’s disease first showed themselves. You may be surprised to hear the names of some famous people who also developed this condition, the names of whom I have listed at the end.



From what is already known about Parkinson’s disease, there is hope that a cure may one day be found. Let’s hope that time is sooner than later.
