Spring Fling (English Edition)
Tired of her roommate's remarks about her being a wet blanket, Tiana Jones is determined to prove her wrong. How? By accepting the challenge of having a spring fling, a meaningless affair with a total stranger over the course of spring break. The only problem is... she's not exactly the spring fling kind of girl, and she can't back out of the challenge. If she does, she runs the risk of losing out on a highly-coveted internship. All seems lost until she enlists the help of Damien, a fellow wallflower. She convinces him to help her fake her spring fling, but will this pretend affair bloom into a real-life romance?

I must have dozed off, because the next thing I knew, I was blinking my eyes open, my neck stiff, and the fog of sleep clinging to me like a second skin. The first thing I noticed was a weight in my lap. I looked down, and found Paul's head resting on my bare thighs, courtesy of my denim shorts, and reflexively shoved him away from me, my face heating with a wave of embarrassment. As Paul groaned his protest at being awakened, I noticed that my head was no longer resting against the window. Instead, it was now propped against Damien's firm shoulder! I shot up immediately, my face heating even more if that was possible. In my haste, I almost banged my sleep-fogged skull against the window.

“Sorry,” I said without meeting Damien's dark eyes, embarrassment making my voice quiet.
